Black Samba is the home of Afro-Brazilian music in Israel!

Our goal is to emphasize the feeling of togetherness and create a shared musical experience that invites everyone to take part in it.

Everyone is welcome to our house. Come as you are, from any culture, sector, religion, faith and age. We believe that togetherness is diving into a shared and joyful musical experience. The carnival is a safe, open, happy, colorful place.

Black Samba brings the authentic music from the carnival of northern Brazil. Alon, our artistic director, flew after graduating from Ramon to Salvador, Bahia in northern Brazil, to undergo extensive musical training with Ilê Aiyê and Olodum, the fathers of the samba reggae and afro samba styles. Alon imported the root rhythms and met Biel who started managing the ensemble. Together, the first Afro block was created in Israel (a group of artists specializing in the style).

Black Samba is a way of life of joy, of good vibes. Our lives are not always simple, and Black Samba came to remind us of the beauty of a shared musical experience. We come to remind you how much fun it is to take part in something big, how much friendship can be formed in a second, with a shared dance, with a smile. We are a tribe, ancient, our art comes from the stomach and reaches the heart.

And it's yours, the carnival is everyone's. He believes that we are all one tribe, a family. The party is where you are, we and you are one, come happily!
